The Bible tells us that we were created to be worshipers of God. That’s our purpose, and that’s the only path to true and lasting joy. Unfortunately, we have all turned away from this purpose and lived lives of sin and rebellion. Truth be told, our sin against a holy God deserves his just judgment for all eternity. However, because God is loving and merciful, he has sent us a Savior in the person of Jesus Christ. Jesus was God in human flesh and came to this earth on a rescue mission to save us. He lived a perfect life, died on the cross to take the punishment for our sins, and victoriously resurrected from the dead to achieve victory over sin and death. He then ascended into heaven and is able to save all who will repent of their sin and put their trust in him for forgiveness and salvation.
